Bad Truck Pottery

Simply Creative.
how it’s made.
PRE-PRODUCTION
It started with a Christmas gift idea. My friend Lawton, owner of Bad Truck Pottery was incredibly receptive to the idea.
PRODUCTION
I decided to shoot this entire video hand held. There is something so modern and creative about shooting in a controlled handheld style. With the weight and balance of the Red Komodo as well as global shutter, that camera sings when it’s just simply in your hands.
POST PRODUCTION
I also decided to shoot this in a 2:4:1 aspect ratio giving it that widescreen cinematic look. It’s always a creative risk to shoot in different aspect ratios but when you’re shooting something that is lit creatively and has texture like clay, it lends it’s hand to the creative risks.
